THE DIAMONDBACKS SWEPT THE CUBBIES AND ARE IN THE NLCS!
It is true. Sing it from the rooftops, Dback fans. The Diamondbacks beat them 5-1. We didn’t just eeeek by, we won. This post may seem strangely sedated, but I am really freaking out.
We will face the Colorado Rockies (who also won their third game today, vs. the Phillies) on Thursday. I will be there.
Oh, by the way, going into the series one of the many discouraging things the ‘experts were saying about the Dbacks was that they didn’t have enough offense to beat the slugging Cubs. We out-homered the Cubs 6 to 1.
